Ram Council Foundation honors Mallozzi


With the mission to promote substance-free living and healthy decision-making among New Canaan teens the Ram Council Foundation has grown from 35 student members to 100.

The stand-alone non-profit recently recognized one individual, in particular, “for his unwavering support” — New Canaan First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III. Parents, donors, student members, and substance abuse prevention industry professionals were all in attendance to salute the first selectman for being a strong advocate of the Ram Council’s mission during the group’s five-year anniversary Gala back in March.

Foundation President Joyce Sixsmith said the group is especially grateful that Mallozzi attended nearly all Ram Council functions and was an active participant. Read More
